Three first-try answers without hints offer a larger step. Two activities needing hints, another attempt or a skip offer a smaller step. Levels stay between 1 and 3. These are simple prototype rules, not a measure of ability.
Response time is never scored. Questions only change when the learner chooses to continue. Hints and breaks are always available. You can hold a step steady by switching adaptation off.

This app is public. Learning activities run on your device: the app does not ask for names, dates of birth, diagnoses or contact details, and its code does not upload answers or practice progress. It has no advertising, analytics, external AI, camera or microphone use. Read aloud uses only voices reported as local by your browser.
Saving is off by default. If enabled, only the current practice step for each activity and four display choices are kept on this browser. No answer history, performance counts or streaks are saved. Saved choices expire after 30 days without use and are discarded when the app next opens; the app cannot clear browser data while it is closed. Switch saving off or choose “Reset this learner’s practice” to remove them now.
Session notes stay in this tab unless someone chooses “Download session notes”. A downloaded file remains on the device after a reset; delete it separately when finished. Anyone using this browser can open these controls and view or download the current session. The grown-up space is not password protected.
The hosting provider receives ordinary web requests, including information needed to deliver and secure the site. The hosting layer also sets its own cookie. The learning app does not control hosting cookies, provider logs or their retention; resetting practice does not remove them. Public access does not grant access to edit the website or connect to Jamie’s private Lexium systems.
My Pace v0.1.1 is a working demonstration of adult-guided, adaptive practice for counting, shape matching and small sums. It does not diagnose a disability or assess developmental ability. Learning benefit and use with assistive technologies have not yet been evaluated with children, families or educators.
